This is a remarkable story of one Irishman's experiences of the Promised Land of America. Born in Ireland, the newly ordained Father Deevy spent seven years in Louisiana before discarding the Roman Collar to join the War on Poverty. He later moved to Massachusetts and became an organizational psychologist. He is the author of Creating the Resilient Organization, a popular management book. After 9/11 Deevy became concerned about the increasing polarization of American society and returned to his homeland following President Bush's decision to invade Iraq. He now lives in Kilnamanagh in South Dublin.
