This collection of new poems follows the impulse to chant about what we cannot understand. And we understand little about the impulse to chorus, to carol, to hymn, of some other, as if answers to the vast varieties of beauty and wonder should come in a world often difficult to understand. But that does not keep us from loving it. We sing the past, the mountains, the rivers, outer space, and the many features of our and other worlds. Ron Houchin lives in the southern Ohio Valley.
