Bryan Morse
Bryan Morse is a retired schoolteacher and a History Graduate of the University of Wales. Inspired by a boyhood friendship with two American Gis, he has produced a fascinating true story of the unique situation when American soldiers were billeted in private homes in the Rhondda prior to the D-Day invasion in June 1944. The Rhondda, famous for its coal production, was also famed for its hospitality - and it lived up to its reputation.
