Eamonn Lynskey

Eamonn Lynskey is a poet and essayist. His work has appeared widely in leading magazines and journals and online. He has published three previous poetry collections: Dispatches @ Recollections (Lapwing 1998), And Suddenly the Sun Again (Seven Towers 2010) and It’s Time (Salmon 2017). He was a finalist in both the Strokestown International Poetry Competition and the Hennessy Awards. A graduate of University College Dublin (BA), Dublin City University (MA), he also holds an M.Phil. in Creative Writing from Dublin University, Trinity College and a Diploma in Italian Language and Culture from the Italian Institute, Dublin. Before retirement he worked as a teacher and adult education director. He is a committee member and former Honorary Secretary of the Irish Writers’ Union.
